What's new:
Given the very low attendance at the monthly meetings lately, I’m going to try
a new approach, at least through the “summer” months. For this month (May
15), the monthly meeting will be held after some riding. This month, I’ve
chosen to coordinate at Phipps Park.
Starting at 6:00 PM, Steve Mysse will be having his weekly training ride for
the Cow Pie mountain bike race starting in the parking lot. At the same time,
Jason or another willing volunteer (hint, hint) will lead a group of road
riders towards Molt. Both rides will be done and back by 7:00, where we will
all enjoy conversation about YVCC. Bring your chairs along with some ideas,
concerns, thoughts and your willingness to tackle those same ideas, concerns
and thoughts.
The club will provide a grill and hamburgers, brats (not kids) and chips for
those in attendance; BYOB (that last “B” is beverage… your choice). Given the
short attendance lately, it would be great to have an RSVP to
yvccpres@gmail.com by Wednesday May 14 so that I can have enough food if you
plan on attending; I’ll plan for 10 people as this would be a 333% increase
from last month.
My final note; if you determine that the weather is too bad for your
attendance, know that I will not be moving the meeting back to the Clinic this
month. I (Jason) will be at Phipps Park by 6:00, staying through 7:30
regardless of which weatherman you watch/listen to.

May 17, 2008 - Ride Beartooth Pass. This ride will leave at 9:00 a.m. starting @ The Red Lodge IGA, 201 N Oaks. This ride starts as a
group, but everyone rides at their own level. If you would like to start at
Greenough Campground, the first group should come by around 10:15ish. Whatever
